Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá karetní hrou poker, konkrétněji variantou Texas hold’em. Práce podává přehled o základní matematice v pokeru a nejdůležitější pokerové statistické ukazatele. Dále bude v práci představen program, který hledá optimální strategii pro hru s 2 hráči a následně bude tato strategie porovnána s exploit strategií. K vytvoření exploit strategie bylo zapotřebí odehrát kolem 50 tisíc partií, aby byly nashromážděny dostatečné informace o hráčích.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with poker, more specifically one of its variant called Texas hold'em. The thesis provides an overview of basic mathematics in poker and the most important poker statistics. A program, that is used to find an optimal strategy for two player poker game is introduced. Then, this optimal strategy and exploitative strategy are being compared in order to find more suitable one. To come up with an exploitative strategy, 50 thousand hands needed to be played in order to collect enough information on the players.
