Abstract:

Prostřednictvím této diplomové práce jsem se pokusila vysvětlit význam controllingu jako nástroje pro řízení podniku. Teoretická část práce obsahuje souhrnné informace o controllingu načerpané z odborné literatury. Získané teoretické poznatky jsou v praktické části aplikovány na nejmenovanou společnost působící v oblasti silničního stavitelství, která je součástí mezinárodního koncernu. Jsou zde popsány hlavní principy řízení této společnosti i celého koncernu. Velká pozornost je věnována specifickým nástrojům controllingu a posouzením jejich účinnosti. Důležitou součástí práce je kapitola o projektovém řízení, která se zaměřuje především na plánování a analýzu odchylek skutečně dosažených výsledků od plánovaných hodnot. Na základě provedené analýzy systému controllingu jsou v závěru práce doporučeny některé změny, které by mohly přispět k jeho efektivnějšímu fungování.

Abstract:

I tried to explain the importance of controlling as the tool for management through this thesis. The information obtained by studying of literature is collected in the theoretical part of the thesis. The theoretical knowledge is then applied in the practical way to an unnamed company operating in road construction which is member of the international holding company. This thesis describes the main principles of management of the company and of the whole group of holding companies. Special attention is paid to specific controlling tools and assessing their effectiveness. An important part of the work is the chapter on project management which focuses primarily on the planning and analysis of variances between actual and planned figures. At the end of this thesis, some recomended changes that could contribute to the companies more affective functioning will be made, based on the analysis of the controlling system.
