Integration of Art and Music in Primary Education

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce nabízí pojetí výtvarné výchovy s interdisciplinárními přesahy do hudební výchovy v primární edukaci. Jejím hlavním cílem je prostřednictvím výtvarného projektu naučit žáky vnímat vazby mezi slyšeným a viděným. Teoretická část pojednává o společných výrazových prostředcích výtvarného umění a hudby a předkládá výběr uměleckých osobností, které ve svých dílech tato mezioborová propojení uplatňovaly. V praktické části práce jsou popsány postupy jednotlivých vyučovacích jednotek, které byly součástí projektu. Ty mohou sloužit jako inspirace pro pedagogy, kteří by se chtěli integraci výtvarné a hudební výchovy ve výuce věnovat.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis gives a concept of art education with interdisciplinary overlaps to music in primary education. The main goal of it is to learn the students through an art project how to perceive binds between a heard and a seen. The theoretical part deals with a common means of expression of visual art and music, and presents a selection of artistic personalities who applied these interdisciplinary connections in their works. The practical part describes the procedures of individual teaching units that were parts of the project. These descriptions can serve as an inspiration for teachers who would like to integrate art and music education in their teaching practice.
