Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza diskurzivního ukazatele anyway v paralelním překladovém korpusu InterCorp. Teoretická část práce představuje diskurzivní ukazatele, zejména se věnuje jejich vymezení a vlastnostem. Dále je pozornost věnována analyzovanému výrazu anyway, který je detailně představen s ohledem na jeho funkce. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se věnuje korpusové lingvistice a představuje paralelní korpus InterCorp. Dále jsou zde představeny možnosti využití překladových korpusů při zkoumání diskurzivních ukazatelů. V analytické části jsou prezentovány a interpretovány výsledky výzkumu. Analýza především zkoumá, co o funkci a významu výrazu anyway vypovídají jeho překladové ekvivalenty.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the discourse marker anyway through the parallel corpus InterCorp. The class of discourse markers is introduced in the first section of the theoretical part where attention is paid to their definitions and characteristics. In the following section, the analysed expression anyway is dealt with in detail. The last chapter of the theoretical part serves as an introduction to corpus linguistics and the parallel corpus InterCorp is introduced. Furthermore, the role of translation corpora in cross-linguistic research of discourse markers is presented. The analytical part presents the research findings. The main purpose of the analysis is to examine what the translation equivalents of anyway reveal abouts its function and meaning.
