Business negotiation with Japanese partners

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is focused on business negotiations with Japanese business partners and I will deal with this in several chapters. The first part will be devoted to basic information about Japan as a country, and brief description of geography, history, economics, politics and its habits. The second chapter will be about the business relations of Japan and Slovakia, as well as between Japan and the European Union, whereas the Slovakia is part of it. The aim of the third chapter is to describe the basic rules of social and business relations as within one state as well as in international relations and also differences in culture and mentality, which is necessary for these meetings to take into account. In the fourth chapter I will discuss the characteristics of leadership behavior in general and the rules of its continuance, that are important for each trader. In conclusion, I will point out the importance of the observance of all these rules and taking account of all the different aspects of Japanese business partners. Getting to know with these rules will ensure a successful and proper dealing with them when concluding business contracts and also what should be avoided in business negotiations.

Abstract:

Téma mojej bakalárskej práce je Obchodné jednanie s japonskými partnermi a budem sa jej venovať vo viacerých kapitolách. V prvej časti sa budem venovať základnými informáciami o Japonsku ako štáte a to stručnej charakteristike geografie, jeho histórii, ekonomike, politike a zvykoch. Druhá kapitola bude o obchodných vzťahoch Japonska a Slovenska a takisto medzi Japonskom a Európskou úniou, keďže Slovensko je jej súčasťou. Cieľom tretej kapitoly bude popísať základné pravidlá spoločenských a obchodných stykov ako v rámci jedného štátu tak aj v medzinárodných vzťahoch a zároveň rozdiely v kultúre a mentalite, na ktoré je potrebné pri týchto stretnutiach brať ohľad. V štvrtej kapitole sa budem venovať charakteristike obchodného jednania ako takého a pravidlám jeho priebehu, ktoré sú dôležité pre každého obchodníka. V závere budem poukazovať na dôležitosť dodržiavanie všetkých týchto pravidiel a prihliadanie na všetky odlišné aspekty japonských obchodných partnerov, pre úspešné a správne jednanie s nimi pri uzatváraní obchodných zmlúv a takisto aj na to, čomu je vhodné sa pri týchto jednaniach vyvarovať.
