Diplomová práce se zaobírá částí diskografie rappera Kendricka Lamara. Rozbor historie rapu, která je relevantní pro tvorbu Lamara, slouží k uvedení detailní analýzy jeho tří studiových alb. Alba Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, To Pimp a Butterfly, a DAMN., tvoří trilogii pokrývající hudebníkův vývoj jakožto muž a zástupce Afroamerické kultury. Abstract:
The thesis explores a portion of discography of rapper Kendrick Lamar. The introduction covers the beginning of rap relevant to the author’s musical efforts to set the stage for dissection of his full-length studio albums. The albums, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, To Pimp a Butterfly, and DAMN., form a trilogy that covers the musician’s development as a man and a representative of the Black culture. Through …more
