Les abréviations dans un corpus de chansons de rap : étude lexicométrique en synchronie dynamique

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is categorize diastratic and analyze diachronic abbreviations used in the lyrics of French rap songs. The theoretical part presents the origin and the development of process of word-abbreviation, the definition of the term abbreviation and its typology. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the language of youth, factors of the genesis of slang vocabulary of the youth and the reasons for the use of abbreviations in daily communication. One hundred rap songs including fifty from the years 1995 – 2003 and fifty from the years 2003 – 2008 were chosen within a project RapCor as a representative sample. The corpus created this way enabled to accomplish a semi-automatic corpus excerption of abbreviations and the formal, functional and lexicographical analysis and to compare the changes in tendencies of a process of word-abbreviation within the two sub corpuses in terms of dynamic synchrony.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je diastraticky kategorizovat a diachronně analyzovat zkratky používané v textech francouzských rapových písní. Teoretická část představuje původ a vývoj zkracování, definici termínu zkratka a její typologii. Dále se teoretická část věnuje jazyku mladých, faktorům geneze slangové slovní zásoby u mládeže a také důvodům používání zkratek v každodenní komunikaci. Materiálovým východiskem se stalo 100 rapových písní, 50 z let 1995-2003 a 50 z let 2003-2008 z korpusového projektu RapCor. Takto utvořený korpus umožnil semiautomatickou exerpci zkratek a provést analýzu formální, funkční a lexikografickou a následně porovnat změny tendencí zkracování v obou sub-korpusech z hlediska dynamické synchronie.
