Phishing, a modern trend in criminology

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce má za cíl důkladné přiblížení a seznámení s problematikou phishingových útoků jak z pohledu jejich způsobu páchání, tak z pohledu trestního práva, seznamuje s osobami pachatelů i poškozených. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřená na přiblížení pojmů, které je potřeba zdůraznit pro lepší orientaci a pochopení celé problematiky phishingových útoků. Zároveň obsahuje důkladné vymezení tématu phishingových útoků a jejich právní rámec. Praktická část ob-sahuje dotazník, který je zaměřen na problematiku těchto phishinfgových útoků, jakým způsobem jsou prováděny a v jaké míře na ně oběti reagují. Tato diplomová práce je postavena na skutečnostech, které jsou v dnešní době k phishingovým útokům všeobecně známé v široké veřejnosti a mají na ní v některých aspektech citelné dopady a způsobují mnohdy nemalé majetkové škody.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis aims to provide a thorough overview and understanding of the issue of phishing attacks, both in terms of their perpetration methods and from the perspective of criminal law, while also introducing the perpetrators and victims. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on explaining concepts that are necessary for better orientation and understanding of the entire issue of phishing attacks. It also includes a comprehensive delineation of the topic of phishing attacks and their legal framework. The practical part includes a questionnaire focused on the issue of these phishing attacks, how they are carried out, and to what extent victims respond to them. This diploma thesis is based on facts that are generally known to the public about phishing attacks in today's society and have significant impacts on it in various aspects, often causing substantial financial losses.
