Abstract:
The thesis deals with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began on 24 February 2022. The situation has escalated since 2021 with the concentration of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border. Invasion was certainly not the only option Russia had. There were multiple options for how Russia could proceed and how it could achieve its foreign policy goals.
