Netuberkulózní mykobakteria jsou podmíněně patogenní mikroorganismy vyskytující se běžně v prostředí a jsou to původci infekcí (mykobakterióz) především u imunokompromitovaných pacientů. Mohou však vyvolávat onemocnění také u jedinců s dostatečnou funkcí imunitního systému. Abstract:
Nontuberculous mycobacteria are conditionally pathogenic microorganisms occurring naturally in the environment and they are the infectious agents mainly in immunocompromised patients. However, they can cause disease in immunocompetent individuals as well.
