This bachelor thesis deals with selected world violinists of the 20th century - Ginette Neveu, Ida Haendel, David Oistrach, Jascha Heifetz, Yehudi Menuhin. The first part of the thesis is devoted not only to the life stories of each virtuoso, but also to a comparison of their interpretations of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major.
