Collage art as a basis for typography second half of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia
Abstract:
Práce se zabýva spojením dvou disciplín užitého umění: koláží a typografií. Celá práce je zaměřena na období 2. poloviny 20. stolení na území Československa. Popisuje oblasti, kde se vyskytuje jejich propojení. U jednotlivých oblastí rozebírá významné autory a charakterizuje jejich práci. Rozborem jednotlivých děl je zkoumána úloha koláže v typografii.
Abstract:
The thesis concentrates on the relation between two disciplins: collage and typography. It is focused on the period of 2nd half of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. It describes areas where this interconnection occurs. It analyzes the most significant authors in each of the areas and characterizes their work. It investigates the role of collage in typography by the analysis of the works.
