Diplomová práce je tématicky zaměřená na seniorskou populaci a především její potřeby. Teoretická část definuje lidské potřeby, geriatrického pacienta, proces stárnutí a stáří a změny s ním související. Empirická část interpretuje a prezentuje průběh a výsledky kvalitativního výzkumného šetření. The diploma thesis is thematically focused on the senior population and especially its needs. The theoretical part defines human needs, the geriatric patient, the process of aging and old age and changes related to it.
