Tato práce je věnována tématu ochrany spotřebitele v Evropském právu. První kapitola práce je zaměřena na problematiku pojmu a historický vývoj ochrany spotřebitele. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na jednotlivé oblasti ochrany spotřebitele - ochrana bezpečnosti a zdraví spotřebitele, ochrana hospodářských zájmů spotřebitele, právo na náhradu škody, právo na vzdělávání, informace a sdružování se.
