Mentoring - professional development of teacher.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá mentoringem jako nástrojem profesního rozvoje učitelů. Teoretická část práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá učitelem, učitelskou profesí a profesním rozvojem jako formou dalšího vzdělávání učitelů. Druhá kapitola představuje mentoring ve školství jako jednu z efektivních forem metodické podpory učitelů a jako nástroj profesního rozvoje učitelů. Empirickou část tvoří kvalitativní výzkum, který se zaměřuje na analýzu a interpretaci zkušeností učitelů na středních školách, kteří byli nebo jsou zapojeni jako mentee do mentorského programu. Úkolem bylo zjistit, zda učitelé využili mentoringu jako podporu učitele a zhodnotit přínos a vliv na jejich práci.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with mentoring, tool of a professional teacher development. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first one occupies with teacher, teacher profession and professional development like a form of further teacher education. The second chapter deals with mentoring at schools, one of the effective form of methodical support of teachers and a tool of professional teacher development. The empirical part contains a qualitative research focused on analysis and interpretation of experience of teachers on high schools, who were or are involved as mentees to a mentoring program. The objective was to find out whether the teachers have used the mentoring as a teacher support and to evaluate benefit and influence on their work.
