The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of Greek mythology motives used in the popular book series intended for young readers - Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The aim of this thesis is to present how the fantasy genre, to which the series belongs, is related to myths, and subsequently how the author of the series works with Greek mythology and how he tries to bring it closer to contemporary young …more
