Design of a vehicle control unit with CAN gateway for an experimental electric vehicle

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem zapojení sítě CAN ve student-ském elektromobilu, který je vyvíjen na Technické univerzitě v Liberci. Prá-ce pojednává o návrhu nastavení řídicích jednotek ve vozidle, konfiguraci zpráv a následném zobrazení informací. Jmenuje software, ve kterém se da-né jednotky konfigurují. Zobrazuje postup při sestavování jednotlivých zpráv. Je zde zmíněn protokol sběrnice CAN. Složení zpráv, které se při ko-munikaci na sběrnici používají. Řešení přístupu jednotek na sběrnici. V neposlední řadě popisuje hardware centrální řídicí jednotky a její firm-ware. Je zde i popsán prozatímní způsob řešení dobíjení elektromobilu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with design of the CAN network connection in the student electric car, which is developed at the Technical University of Liberec. The thesis deals with the design of control units in the vehicle, con-figuration of messages and subsequent display of information. Named the software that configures the units. Displays the procedure for compiling in-dividual messages. The CAN bus protocol is mentioned here. The composition of messages that are used for communication on the bus. Drive access to bus solutions. Last but not least, it describes the harware of the central control unit and its firmware. There is also described a temporary way to solve electromobile charging.
