Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem cestovního ruchu v Evropské unii od období hospodářské krize, tedy od roku 2008 až do roku 2016, který byl ovlivněn dvěma zásadními situacemi – uprchlickou krizí a terorismem. Dále jsem se více zaměřila na dva konkrétní státy – Řecko a Španělsko, které byly těmito událostmi nejvíce zasažené. Oba tyto státy podrobněji analyzuji. K měření a porovnání výkonosti cestovního ruchu Evropské unie jsem využila vykazovaných počtů příjezdů a přenocování v Evropské unii a vybraných státech a procentuální podíl HDP cestovního ruchu na celkovém HDP, rovněž na úrovni Evropské unie a vybraných členských států. Na základě zjištěných výsledků jsem vyhodnotila nejlepší destinace z pohledu států, kterými jsou ve všech z měřených hodnot státy - Španělsko, Francie a Itálie a také nejsilnější města na poli cestovního ruchu EU, kterými jsou Londýn, Řím, Barcelona a také Praha. Hlavním zjištěním této práce je neustálý nárůst cestovního ruchu v Evropské unii, mimo období let 2008 - 2010, kdy cestovní ruch kvůli hospodářské krize vykazoval ztráty oproti předchozím rokům o celé miliony příjezdů. Již sedm let za sebou cestovní ruch Evropské unie roste. Bylo zjištěno, že k růstu mimo jiné přispívá bezpečnost Evropského kontinentu a terorismus ve světě, který přilákal další účastníky cestovního ruchu do Evropské unie z jiných destinací.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the development of tourism in the European Union since year of economic crises from 2008 to 2016, year which was influanced by two major situations – imigrant crises and world terorism. Furthermore, I was more focused on two specific countries – Greece and Spain, which have been most affected by these situations. Both countries are analyzed in more detail. For measuring and comparing the performance of tourism in the European union I have used the reported number of arrivals and overnight stays in the European Union and selected countries and the percantage of GDP of tourism in the total GDP, also at level of European union and selected countries. Based on the results, I evaluated the best destinations in terms of states, which are at all of the measured values states - Spain, France and Italy, as well as the most powerful cities in the field of tourism EU, which are London, Rome, Barcelona and also Prague. The main finding of this thesis is continuous growth of tourism in the European Union, outside the period 2008-2010, when tourism due to the economic crisis showed losses compared to previous years about the millions of arrivals. Tourism of European Union is growing for seven years. It was found that for the growth also helps the security of the European continent and terrorism in the world, which attracted more tourists to the European Union from different destinations.
