The Orthodox Church in Novels Resurrection and The Brothers Karamazov
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá srovnáním pohledů na pravoslavnou synodní církev prezentovaných v románech Vzkříšení (L. N. Tolstoj) a Bratři Karamazovi (F. M. Dostojevskij). Obsahuje také analýzu vývoje světonázoru obou autorů i jejich vztahu k oficiální ruské církvi 2. poloviny 19. století. Jedná se o rozšíření tématu nastíněného v bakalářské práci.
Abstract:
The dissertation recognizes references to the official Russian orthodox church at the end of the 19th century against the backdrop of novels Ressurection by Leo Tolstoy and The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. An additional topic recognizes relationships of the authors and the Russian church in this period. The work extends the bachelor dissertation.
