Rezistence bakterií k antibiotikům, zejména ke klinicky velmi významným beta-laktamům a chinolonům, je celosvětový problém, který je zatím spíše přehlížen. Nositeli mnoha rezistencí jsou bakterie čeledi Enterobacteriaceae, což jsou organismy celosvětově rozšířené a pro člověka velmi důležité. Abstract:
Antibiotic resistance, especially to clinically important beta-lactams and quinolones, is a worldwide problem, yet it tends to be overlooked. Bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae family are bearers of many resistance genes; they are widespread all around the world and very important for humans as they are part of our natural microbiome, but in some cases may also be pathogenic.
