Abstract:
This bachelor thesis examines the role of the Federal Reserve System (Fed) during the 2020 US Treasury market crisis triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to the "dash-for-cash" phenomenon. It analyses the factors that influenced the downturn and the actions used by the Fed to stabilize the market, which are supported by an econometric. Táto bakalárska práca skúma rolu Federálneho rezervného systému (Fed) počas krízy na trhu s dlhopismi v USA v roku 2020, vyvolanej pandémiou Covid-19, ktorá viedla k fenoménu „dash-for-cash“. Analyzuje faktory, ktoré vplývali na prepad a opatrenia použité Fedom na stabilizáciu trhu, ktoré sú podporené ekonometrickým modelom.
