Use of natural breeding and insemination in horses

Abstract:

V práci je charakterizována plemenitba, její metody a způsoby plemenitby koní. Dále je v práci definována přirozená plemenitba a druhy připouštění a hygiena připouštění. Je zde charakterizována umělá inseminace a manipulace se spermatem, co se týče odběru a skladování spermatu. Dále jsou charakterizovány pohlavní orgány klisny, reprodukční cyklus, březost a porod. Další součástí práce je charakteristika embryotransferu a manipulace s embryi. Na závěr je porovnáno využití chlazeného a zmrazeného spermatu a využití přirozené plemenitby v chovu koní, kdy bylo zjištěno, že umělá inseminace je dnes již mnohem více rozšířena než přirozená plemenitba, a její využití rychle stoupá.

Abstract:

The work characterizes breeding, its methods, and ways of breeding horses. Furthermore, the work defines natural breeding and types of breeding and breeding hygiene. There is an artificial insemination and handling of sperm in terms of semen collection and storage. The marine genitals, reproductive cycle, pregnancy, and childbirth are also characterized. Another part of the work is the characteristics of embryo transfer and embryo manipulation. Finally, the use of chilled and frozen sperm and the use of natural breeding in horse breeding is compared, when it was found that artificial insemination is much more widespread today than natural breeding, and its use is rapidly increasing.
