Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to consider the rivalry between the two Scottish cities Edinburgh and Glasgow. Attention will be paid not only to the rivalry as such, but also to the differences between the cities and how they rival. Cílem této bakalářské práce je posoudit rivalitu mezi skotskými městy Edinburgh a Glasgow. Pozornost však bude věnována nejen samotné rivalitě, ale také rozdílům mezi oběma městy a jak si konkurují. Práce se posléze zaměří na projevy rivality v některých oblastech běžného života a jak ji obyvatelé měst vnímají.
