The influence of racial theories of the Nazi Germany

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nazvaná Vliv rasové teorie na nacistické Německo se na základě analýzy vývoje rasových teorií a stěžejních děl Arthura Gobineaua a Houstona Stewarta Chamberlaina pokouší popsat ideové základy nacistického Německa a též reflektovat, jak se rasové teorie projevily v jeho praxi. Významný prostor je věnován myšlence nadřazenosti árijské rasy, která nepopiratelně inspirovala Adolfa Hitlera v jeho tažení za rasovým vykoupením a dokonalou germánskou rasou. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, které se postupně zabývají pojmy rasa a rasismus, dále rasovými teoriemi, jejich vývojem a v důsledku i dopadem na Německou říši.

Abstract:

The thesis entitled The influence of racial theories to Nazi Germany on the basis of analysis of the development of racial theories and key works of Arthur Gobineau and Houston Stewart Chamberlain's attempts to describe the ideological foundations of Nazi Germany and also reflect how the racial theories expressed in his practice. Significant space is devoted to the idea of the superiority of the Aryan race, which undeniably inspired Adolf Hitler in his campaign for racial redemption and perfect Teutonic race. The work is divided into four chapters, which are gradually dealing with the concepts race and racism, as well as racial theories, their development and due to the impact of the German Reich.
