Relation between organizational culture and strategy of one organization

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je výzkum organizační kultury vybrané společnosti působící ve farmaceutickém průmyslu současnosti. Cílem je analýza jednotlivých prvků/oblastí, které jsou pro organizační kulturu ve vztahu ke strategii společnosti významné.Teoretická část práce poskytuje znalostní bázi faktorů přímo/nepřímo souvisejících s organizační kulturou a jejím vývojem. Mezi vybrané faktory patří struktura, diverzita, síla, zdroje, typologie a změna organizační kultury. Prostor je věnován také vztahu mezi organizační kulturou a strategií.Praktická část práce přistupuje k analýze vybraných prvků organizační kultury z obecného pohledu a z pohledu národnostních skupin. Pozornost je věnována oblastem, ve kterých existuje potenciál pro jejich optimalizaci, jak z hlediska vnímaní zaměstnanců, tak z hlediska konzistence vzhledem ke směřování společnosti.

Abstract:

The subject of this master thesis is the research of chosen organization operating in the current pharmaceutical industry. The main purpose is to analyze various elements / areas, that are important to the organizational culture in relation to the company's strategy.The theoretical part of the master thesis provides knowledge base of factors directly / indirectly related to the organizational culture and its development. Selected factors include structure, diversity, strength, resources, typology, and organizational culture change. One chapter is also devoted to the relationship between organizational culture and strategy.The practical part of the thesis analyzes selected elements of the organizational culture from the general point of view and from the point of view of nationality groups. Attention is paid to areas, where there is potential for their optimization, both in terms of employee perceptions and consistency in the company’s direction/strategy.
