Abstract:

Práce pojednává o komplexním restaurování starého tisku v celousňové barokní vazbě ze sbírek Regionálního muzea v Litomyšli. Blíže se jedná o českojazyčný homiletický titul rozdělený do dvou dílů: Jak Kostelní tak Domácí Postilla (1667) a Sváteční Postilla jak Kostelní tak Domácí (1668). Jejich společným autorem je Vojtěch Šebestián Scipio Berlička. Tisk Pražské jezuitské tiskárny se i přes špatný stav knižní vazby a bloku dochoval kompletní. Text písemné práce obsahuje základní identifikaci a typologický popis předmětu restaurování, průzkum jeho stavu, záměr a postup restaurátorského zásahu. Dále uvádí seznam použitých materiálů a vhodné podmínky uložení i prezentace díla. Průvodní přílohy zahrnují laboratorní protokoly a výstupy analýz průzkumu, ilustrační schémata k typologickému popisu knihy, reprodukce filigránů psací látky a základní obrazový doprovod. Nezbytnou součástí souboru je fotografická dokumentace stavu objektu před restaurováním, v jeho průběhu a po něm. Práce je rozšířena o historický průzkum, typografický popis tisku a faktografické údaje osob, jevů a institucí s ním spjatých.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the complete restoration treatment of an old print in full-leather baroque binding from the collections of the Regional Museum in Litomyšl. In a closer view, it is about a homiletic title in the Czech language divided into two parts: Jak Kostelní tak Domácí Postilla (1667) and Postilla jak Kostelní tak Domácí (1668). The author of both of them is Vojtěch Šebestián Scipio Berlička. The print of the Prague Jesuit Printing House has been preserved in its complete form even though the bookbinding and book block were in the bad condition. The text of the thesis contains basic identification and typological description of the restored object, exploration of its state, the treatment plan and the description of the restoration treatment. Furthermore, it contains also the list of used materials and suitable conditions for storing or presenting the work. Accompanying supplements include laboratory protocols and outputs of the survey analyses, illustration schemes for the typological description of the book, filigree reproductions of the writing material and basic image accompaniment. An essential part of the file is photographic documentation of the state of the object before, during and after the restoration treatment. The thesis is extended by historical research, typographic description of the print and factual data of the people, occurrences and institutions connected with it.
