Non-Traditional Forms of Tourism with Emphasis on Volunteer Tourism

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice netradičních forem cestovního ruchu, s kladením hlavního zřetele na dobrovolnický cestovní ruch. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na definování cestovního ruchu, práce plynule přechází k představení základních i netradičních forem CR. Samostatná kapitola, věnovaná dobrovolnickému CR, je zaměřena na historii této netradiční formy, vysvětlení motivů, které účastníky vedou k samotné účasti i negativní dopady dobrovolnického CR. Součástí bakalářské práce je dotazníkové šetření, teritoriálně spjaté s územím Moravskoslezského kraje, jehož primárním cílem je zjistit reálné povědomí o daném tématu. Výsledkem práce je jednodenní event organizovaný v prostředí Moravskoslezských Beskyd, věnovaný dobrovolnickému cestovnímu ruchu. Součástí eventu je kromě samotné dobrovolnické aktivity i prezentace a představení konkrétních nabídek dobrovolnických organizací na území České republiky i zahraničí, mimo jiné za pomocí vytvořené propagační brožury. Nezbytností je také vypracování letáku plánovaného eventu – „Ukliďme Beskydy“ i turistické mapy trasy eventu – „Ukliďme Beskydy“.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of non-traditional forms of tourism, with the main focus on volunteer tourism. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the definition of tourism, the work gradually transitions to the introduction of basic as well as non-traditional forms of tourism industry. A separate chapter, devoted to volunteer tourism, is concerned with the history of this non-traditional form, an explanation of the motives that lead participants to participate and the negative impacts of volunteer tourism. Part of the bachelor's thesis is a questionnaire survey, territorially connected with the territory of the Moravian-Silesian Region, whose primary goal is to determine the actual awareness of the given topic. The result of the work is a one-day event organized in the area of Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains dedicated to volunteer tourism. In addition to the volunteering activity itself, the event also includes presentation and introduction of specific offers of volunteer organizations in the Czech Republic and abroad, among other things with the help of a created promotional brochure. It was also necessary to make a leaflet of the planned event - "Let's clean up Beskydy" and tourist maps of the route of the event - "Let's clean up Beskydy".
