Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje současné poznatky o obezitě a léčivých rostlinách, především ve vztahu k účinnosti a bezpečnosti léčivých rostlin na redukci hmotnosti. V textu je charakterizováno několik léčivých rostlin, které by mohly účinkovat jako podpůrné prostředky při léčbě nadváhy nebo jako prostředky užívané k mírnění zdravotních komplikací doprovázejících obezitu. The bachelor's work summarizes the contemporary information about obesity and medicinal plants, mainly in relationship between the effectivity and safety of medicinal plants used in the weight reduction. In the text there are described selected medical plants which can be effective as supportive agents in treatment of obesity or as agents used for diminishing health problems joined with obesity.
