Hipotherapy like a treatment by childreen with cerebral palsy

Abstract:

Cíl práce: Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda hipoterapie ovlivňuje děti s DMO a uvést princip metody. Metodika: V rámci rozhovoru jsem seznámila tatínka holčičky s tématem bakalářské práce a odebrala anamnézu. Sledování aspekcí bylo vyuţito při kineziologickém rozboru a hipoterapeutickém vyšetření. Na základě kineziologického rozboru jsem stanovila krátkodobý rehabilitační plán a krátkodobý hipoterapeutický plán. Po dobu 2 měsíců jsem sledovala holčičku při hipoterapii, která se konala kaţdou sobotu 10- 25 minut. Výsledky: Vzhledem k diagnóze pacientky nedošlo k výrazným změnám stavu. Hipoterapie příznivě ovlivňuje její psychickou stránku, vlivem hipoterapie a tepla vycházející z koňského hřbetu dochází k uvolnění spasticity, ke zvýšení stability, rovnováhy a koordinace. Závěr: V dnešní době patří hipoterapie mezi nejrozšířenější metody vyuţívající zvíře. Trojrozměrnou, fyziologickou chůzí koně je ovlivňována patologická chůze pacienta.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this BA thesis is to find out whether hippotherapy influences children suffering from cerebral palsy as well as to descibe the methodology. Methods: I informed the fathet of the particular child with the topic of my BA thesis and I took the medical history. The observation of the aspects was used during the kinesiological analysis and hippoterapeutical examination. I set a short plan of rehabilitation and kinesiology on the basis of the kinesiological analysis. I observed the child during the hippoterapeutical therapy which took place once a week for 25 minutes. Results: : There was not a significant change in the patient´s state due to the particular diagnosis. The hippotherapy influences the patient´s psychical state in a positice way. Hippotherapy helps to release the spasticity, increase the stability, balance and coordination. Conclusion: Nowadays, hippotherapy belongy to the most widely used methods using animals in therapy. The horse´s three-dimensional physiological walking influence the pathological walking of the patient.
