Czech translation of a fragment of Andrzej Pilipiuk's book called "Zaginiona"

Abstract:

Teoretická část této práce se zaměřuje na teorii překladu, jeho strategie a typy. Rovněž se zabývá překladatelským postupem, kompetencemi překladatele a důležitostí samotného překladu. V praktické části práce autorka přeložila fragment knihy "Zaginiona" polského fantasy spisovatele Andrzeje Pilipiuka. Poté svůj překlad, postup i problémy spojené s překladem analyzovala a okomentovala.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the theory of translation, its strategies and types. It also deals with the translation process, the competences of the translator and the importance of the translation itself. In the practical part of the work, the author translated the fragment of the book "Zaginiona" writen by Polish fantasy writer Anrzej Pilipiuk. She then analyzed and commented on her translation, the process and translation problems.
