Shadow economy in the theory and practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Šedá ekonomika v teorii a v praxi“ je zaměřena na zkoumání fungování šedé ekonomiky, na způsoby jejího měření a na zjištění věrohodnosti výsledků získaných použitím jedné z metod. První část seznamuje čtenáře v rámci dvou kapitol se skladbou šedé ekonomiky, s jejími příčinami a důsledky a s metodami, kterými lze šedou ekonomiku měřit. Ve druhé části je pak proveden vlastní autorský odhad šedé ekonomiky v České republice s následnou komparací s jiným autorským odhadem a se srovnáním České republiky s jinými státy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "The shadow economy in theory and practice” is focused on exploring the functioning of the informal economy, the ways to measure it and the ascertainment of the credibility of the results obtained using one of the methods. The first part introduces within two chapters to the reader the composition of the informal economy, its causes and consequences and the methods that can measure the gray economy. In the second part, the author's own estimate of the informal economy in the Czech Republic is undertaken, followed by comparison with other authors estimates and by a comparison of the Czech Republic with other states.
