Abstract:

Práce si klade za cíl demonstrovat na příkladu epizody "Navěky nejlepší přátelé" postupy, které tvůrci seriálu Městečko South Park užívají k implementaci závažného etického a politického sdělení, při zachování zábavního potenciálu i populárního charakteru pořadu. V úvodu se text stručně věnuje historii vzniku seriálu a jeho ideologickému vymezení a následně také rekapitulaci kontroverzního a medializovaného případu, který se stal předobrazem zmíněné epizody.

Abstract:

Aim of the thesis is to demonstrate techniques used by the creators of the series South Park to implement an important ethical and political message, exemplified by the episode "Best Friends Forever" without loosing show's signature humor and popularity. At the begin- ning I briefly examine the history of the series with the focus on its ideology and also sum up the controversial and largely publicized case which became the foundation of the epi- sode.
