A new academic discipline called election forensics has recently gained much popularity. It attempts to distiguish fraudulent from fraud-free elections by applying statistical methods to low-level election results. V ostatných rokoch sme zaznamenali rozmach akademickej disciplíny známej ako volebná forenzika. Tá sa snaží využitím štatistických metód na detailných volebných výsledkoch rozhodnúť či dané voľby boli zmanipulované alebo nie.
