Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat profit testing. Profit testing je moderní přístup ocenění životního pojištění na základě stanovení určitého zisku. Nejprve se práce zabývá klasickým oceněním životního pojištění a kalkulací pojistného. The aim of this thesis is to characterise profit testing. Profit testing is a modern approach to appraising life insurance based on determining fixed profit. Firstly, the thesis explores standard life insurance appraisal and insurance premium calculations.
