Práca sa venuje problematike generických doménových mien a sporom, ktoré z nich vyplývajú. V krátkosti je načrtnutý vznik a história doménových mien. Nasleduje definícia doménového mena z pohľadu technického aj právneho. Hlavnú časť práce tvorí rozbor pravidiel UDRP a federálneho zákona ACPA.
