Design of a casting mold with emphasize segregation process in foundry used Al-Si alloys

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem licí formy pro zvýraznění procesu segregace u slévárenských Al-Si slitin. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je věnována historii, vývoji forem i samotného hliníku, dále rozdělení hliníkových slitin, segregaci prvků a slévárenství. se zabývá historií, jak forem, tak hliníku. Dále rozdělením hliníkových slitin, segregací prvků a obecně slévárenstvím. Jsou zde popsány metody odlévání, vtoková soustava, druhy forem atd. Praktická část práce se zabývá konstrukčním návrhem slévárenské formy z oceli Cr-Mo-V - 15 128 a pevnostními výpočty. Je zde zahrnuta i počítačová simulace proudění taveniny v licí formě při procesu odlévání v programu Ansys Discovery. Na závěr práce bylo zpracováno technicko-ekonomické zhodnocení. Práce obsahuje kompletní výkresovou dokumentaci pro výrobu formy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a casting mould to highlight the segregation process in foundry Al-Si alloys. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the history, the development of the moulds and aluminium itself, the distribution of aluminium alloys, the segregation of elements and the foundry industry. It also deals with the history of both moulds and aluminium and it covers the topics of division of aluminium alloys, the segregation of elements and the foundry industry in general. Casting methods, the sprue system, types of moulds, etc. are also described. The practical part of the thesis deals with the structural design of a foundry mould made of Cr-Mo-V - 15 128 steel and strength calculations. Computer simulation of melt flow in the casting mould during the casting process in Ansys Discovery software is included. At the end of the work, a techno-economic evaluation was prepared. The thesis contains complete drawing documentation for mould production.
