Adaptation problems of children with somatic handicaps

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké jsou adaptační problémy dětí se somatickými hendikepy na základních školách a jaká je míra spokojenosti v životě těchto dětí. Dílčí cíle se zaměřují na zjištění psychologického dopadu hendikepu na děti a jejich rodiny, dopadu hendikepu na kvantitu učení a míru zvládnutí učiva. Častou příčinou somatického hendikepu bývají vrozené nebo získané poruchy či defekty. Součástí komplexní péče o tyto pacienty je nejen léčebná rehabilitace, ale i psychologická péče, pedagogická a sociální intervence, ekonomická a technická podpora. Důležitými prostředky jsou především návaznost péče a informovanost jedinců i jejich rodin.

Abstract:

The aim is to find out what are the adaptation problems of children with somatic handicap at primary schools and what is the level of satisfaction in the lives of these children. Sub-objectives are focused on finding the psychological impact on handicap children and their families, the impact of the handicap on the quantity and rate of learning mastery of the curriculum. A common cause of somatic handicap are congenital or acquired disorders or defects. Part of comprehensive care for these patients is not only rehabilitation but also psychological care, educational and social interventions, economic and technical support. Important resources are primarily continuity of care and awareness of individuals and their families.
