Abstract:
Cílem bakalářské práce je zobrazení výškového povrchu v 2D a 3D (3D myšleno jako plastické mapy) pomocí OpenGL. Teoretická část obsahuje seznámení s projektem SRTM (databáze nadmořských výšek Země). Popis možností OpenGL pro zobrazení 2D a 3D, princip zobrazení ve vertex bufferu, jeho výhody a nároky. The aim of this thesis is rendering of elevation surfaces in 2D and 3D (3D as relief maps) using OpenGL. The theoretical part includes explanation of the SRTM project (database of the Earth altitudes,) description of the OpenGL 2D and 3D capabilities, rendering using vertex buffer and its benefits.
