Employment of foreigners by Czech business companies with a focus on regulations of the temporary protection of citizens of Ukraine

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku zaměstnávání cizinců na území České republiky. V práci je vymezen právní rámec, jsou dále popsány základní otázky z oblasti zaměstnávání cizinců a povinnosti zaměstnavatelé s tím spojené. Práce je rozdělena do sedmi části, ve kterých jsou vymezeny jednotlivé instituty. Závěrem je shrnutí poznatků a srovnání obecné právní úpravy této oblasti s úpravou dočasné ochrany občanů Ukrajiny, včetně vlivu přijatých opatření na danou oblast a účastníky pracovněprávních vztahů. Cílem této bakalářské práce je především zmapování problematiky zaměstnávání cizinců a poskytnutí přehledu o fungování předpisů pracovního a cizineckého práva v souvislosti se zákonem o některých opatřeních v souvislosti s ozbrojeným konfliktem na území Ukrajiny vyvolaným invazí vojsk Ruské federace.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The paper outlines the legal framework, and further describes the fundamental aspects of employment of foreigners and the obligations of employers connected to it. The paper is divided into seven parts, each defining individual institutes. The conclusion summarizes the findings and compares the general legal regulation related to this topic with the regulation of temporary protection of citizens of Ukraine, including the effect of the adopted measures on the given field and subjects of labor relations. The primary aim of this thesis is to map the issue of employment of foreigners and provide insights into labor and foreigner law regulations in connection with the law on certain measures in relation to the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine caused by the invasion of the troops of the Russian Federation.
