Political culture and social climate of the society

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá aktuálním tématem politické kultury ve vztahu k sociálnímu klimatu společnosti. Vzhledem k obsáhlosti tématu bylo zvoleno užší zaměření na politiku komunální, které je věnována jedna z kapitol teoretické části. Teoretická část dále obsahuje vysvětlení pojmu politická kultura pohledem různých autorů, zabývá se stavem současné politické kultury v ČR, otázkami etiky, morálky a demokracie, definuje občanskou a zájmovou společnost. Samostatná kapitola je věnována mládeži vymezuje období dospívání v souvislosti s procesem socializace a poukazuje na roli sociální pedagogiky v politické socializaci mládeže. V praktické části byly kvantitativním výzkumem ve dvou skupinách respondentů zjišťovány postoje související s tématem práce spokojenost s politickou kulturou, zájem o dění na komunální úrovni, ochota k aktivní politické angažovanosti a postoje ke komunálním volbám. Získaná data byla analyzována a komparována a výsledky naznačují možnosti působení sociálních pedagogů v náročném procesu politické socializace.

Abstract:

My thesis is dealing with an actual topic of political culture relating to social climate of our society. Due to the extensiveness of that topic I chose the closer focus on the municipal politics. One of the chapters in the theoretical part of my thesis is dealt with that. Theoretical part is including explanation of the concept of the political culture from the different authors points of view, it deals with current czech political culture´s quality, next it deals with the questions of ethics, morality and democracy, it defines civil society groups and special interest groups. Single chapter deals with youth - it defines a period of pubescence and adolescence in connection with socialization process and it points the social pedagogy role in youth socialization. In the empirical part of my thesis I found out the attitudes of respondents related to the topic of my thesis at quantitative research in two groups of respondents - satisfaction with political culture, interest in public affairs at the municipal level, promptness of the active political involvement and attitudes to municipal elections. Obtained data were analyzed and compared and results suggest effective influence of social pedagogists in complicated process of political socialization.
