Diplomová práce popisuje aktuální trendy a inovace v oblasti platebních karet, jak v České republice, tak v zahraničí. Zabývám se v ní historií platebních karet a jejich postupné rozšíření. Zaměřuji se na přechod z klasické kontaktní karty na bezkontaktní a využití nových technologiích v praxi. The thesis describes the current trends and innovations of payment cards, in Czech Republic and abroad. I deal with the history of payment cards and their successive expansion. I focus on the transition from the classic contact cards for the contactless and the use of new technologies in practice.
