This work analyses the french collection of Aesopic fables written by Marie de France, the author living in the England at the end of the 12th century. Tato práce zkoumá francouzskou sbírku bajek autorky Marie de France, působící na konci 12. století v Anglii. Jejím cílem je ukázat, nakolik se do díla, vycházejícího ze starší předlohy, promítá středověká realita autorky.
