The business and cultural specifics of Peru

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je charakterizovat obchodní a kulturní specifika Peru. První kapitola popisuje základní charakteristiky země, podrobněji se věnuje přírodním a geografickým podmínkám, historii, demografii, úředním jazykům, státním symbolům, administrativně-správním rozdělením, politické situace, členství v mezinárodních organizacích, základním makroekonomickým ukazatelům a hospodářským sektorům. Druhá kapitola se věnuje peruánskému zahraničnímu obchodu, obchodní bilanci, obchodu s Českou republikou s příkladem Budějovického Budvaru a obchodnímu jednání. Poslední kapitola uvádí kulturní specifika Peru dle Hofstedeho dimenzí, náboženství, způsob života ve městech a na venkově, postavení žen a odraz jiných kultur. Praktická část se zaměřuje na vlastnosti peruánského podnikatele a na cizí vlivy, které utvářely peruánskou kulturu.

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to characterize business and cultural specifics of Peru. The first chapter is focused on general characteristics of Peru and provides information about geography, nature, history, demography, official languages, state symbols, districts, political system, membership in international organisations, economic indicators and economic sectors. The second chapter deals with international business, trade balance, trade with Czech Republic with example of Budějovický budvar and business meeting. The third chapter is devoted to the cultural dimensions according to Geert Hofstede, and deals with culture specifics, namely religions, way of life in cities and the countryside, the position of women and influences of foreign cultures. Practical part is focused on characteristics of peruvian entrepreneur and foreign culture influences.
