Issue of Occupational Diseases in Health Care Workers

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je problematika nemocí z povolání u zdravotnických pracovníků. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část stručně popisuje historii pracovního lékařství. Dále se zabývá druhy poškození zdraví z práce a jejich následným uznáváním a odškodňováním. Představeny jsou rovněž příčiny vzniku nemocí z povolání u zdravotnických pracovníků a také konkrétní nemoci z povolání, které je nejčastěji postihují. Na závěr teoretické části jsou vypsána preventivní opatření, při jejichž dodržování dochází k eliminování vzniku nemocí z povolání ve zdravotnictví. Praktická část obsahuje průzkumné šetření mezi zdravotnickými pracovníky ve Fakultní nemocnici v Motole a následné vyhodnocení informovanosti těchto pracovníků o problematice nemocí z povolání. Zároveň je vyhodnocen výskyt nemocí z povolání u těchto pracovníků, po kterém následuje diskuze k hlavní problematice. Na závěr práce jsou uvedena doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the issue of occupational diseases in health care workers. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part briefly describes the history of occupational medicine. It also deals with the types of damages to health from work and their subsequent recognition and compensation. The next part of the theoretical part deals with the causes of occupational diseases in health care workers and also specific occupational diseases that most often affect health care workers. At the end of the theoretical part, preventive measures are listed, the observance of which eliminates the occurrence of occupational diseases in health care. The practical part contains an exploratory survey among health workers at the University Hospital in Motol and a subsequent evaluation of these workers' awareness of the issue of occupational diseases, as well as an evaluation of the incidence of occupational diseases in these workers, followed by a discussion on the main issues. At the end of the work there are recommendations for practice.
