International trade theory and its practical use in the Czech foreign trade policy

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce "Teorie mezinárodního obchodu a jejich praktické využití v zahraničně obchodní politice ČR" je analyzovat vztah teorie mezinárodního obchodu a praxe zahraničního obchodu a zahraničně obchodní politiky ČR. Předmětem mého zkoumání bude hledání odpovědí na otázky: Čím je určována struktura českého zahraničního obchodu? V jaké míře se v českém zahraničním obchodě projevují protekcionistické a liberální prvky? Jaký byl vývoj zahraničně obchodní politiky před vstupem do EU a po něm? Jak se vyvíjela česká proexportní politika?

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis "The international trade theory and its practical use in the Czech foreign trade policy"is to analyse the relation of the foreign trade theories and the applied Czech foreign trade and foreign trade policy. The subject of my empiric analysis is to search for answers to: What determines the Czech foreing trade structure? To what extent does protectionist and liberal aproach take effect in the Czech foreign trade? What was the trend in the Czech foreign trade policy before and after joining the EU? What was the development of the Czech pro-export policy?
