Aerosol homogenization for the isotope ratios measurements by LA-ICP-MS method
Abstract:
Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry method (LA-ICP-MS) was used for isotope monitoring used in geochronology. The aim of this thesis is to reduce the instability of the time-resolved LA-ICP-MS signal resulting from the use of a pulsed laser. Laserová ablácia v spojení s hmotnostnou spektrometriou s indukčne viazanou plazmou (LA-ICP-MS) bola využitá pre monitoring izotopov používaných v geochronológii. Cieľom práce je redukcia nestability časovo rozlíšeného signálu LA-ICP-MS, vznikajúceho pri použití pulzného laseru.
