Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá imigrací a jejím dopadem na sociální, kulturní a náboženské aspekty života imigrantů v knihách ''Things Are Good Now'' od Djamila Ibrahim a ''NW'' od Zadie Smith. Imigranti zápasí s tím, jak se adaptovat do nové atmosféry a zároveň si udržet alespoň část své kultury. The thesis discusses immigration and its effects on the social, cultural, and religious aspects of immigrants’ lives in the books 'Things Are Good Now' written by Djamila Ibrahim and 'NW' Written by Zadie Smith. Immigrants have to adapt to the new atmosphere they are put into while holding on to their background. The challenges they go through push them to assimilate, and learn more about themselves …more
