Evaluation of economy and a proposal for development of a small municipality

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na evaluaci hospodaření obce Čermná ve Slezsku a cílem této práce je podat návrh strategického plánu rozvoje obce. V teoretické části práce byly popsány základní pojmy týkající se obce a jejího hospodaření, finanční analýzy a strategického plánování za pomocí literární rešerše. V rámci praktické části této práce byla díky socioekonomické analýzy, evaluace hospodaření obce a dotazníkového šetření vytvořena SWOT analýza obce. Na základě zjištěných skutečností prostřednictvím SWOT analýzy, byly navrhnuty změny směřující ke zlepšení hospodaření obce a také byl vytvořen strategický plán rozvoje obce, jehož strategické cíle vycházely z problémových oblastí rozvoje dané obce a ke kterým byly navrženy opatření a aktivity vedoucí k dosažení daných strategických cílů, včetně navržení akčního plánu na období tří let a také katalogu projektů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the management evaluation of the Čermná ve Slezsku village and the aim of this work is to submit a proposal for a strategic plan for the development of the village. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic concepts related to the municipality and its management, financial analysis and strategic planning with the help of literary research. Within the practical part of this work, owing to the socio-economic analysis, evaluation of the municipality's management and a questionnaire survey, a SWOT analysis of the municipality was created. Based on the SWOT analysis findings, some changes were proposed to improve the management of the municipality and also a strategic development plan was created, whose strategic goals were based on the problem areas of the municipality development and for which measures and activities were proposed to achieve the strategic goals. The design of an action plan for a three-year period as well as a catalog of projects are included.
