Abstract:

Práce se zabývá uplatněním audiovizuálních médií: filmu, videa a počítačového umění v multimediální divadelní tvorbě v období od počátku 20.století do současnosti. Popisuje nejen vývoj technologií, ale zejména principy jejich použití. Autorka záměrně odděluje film od digitálních médií- celá práce je založena na dvou odlišných cestách, kterými se tato média ubírají. Zabývá se ovšem jak jejich odlišností, tak jejich interakcí a také interakcí s dalšími uměleckými disciplínami. Jedním z výstupů je typologie multimediálních představení v různých etapách vývoje nových médií a názorné příklady jednotlivých typů. Druhým je, jak se tento vývoj odráží v současném divadle. Podnětem pro napsání této práce byl sílící trend konvencionalizace filmu a videa v živém představení, která svádí k jejich přijímání jako samozřejmosti. Podobně jako jiné, dnes již standardizované principy a technologie však prošla i audiovizuální média v divadle pozoruhodným vývojem, ve kterém se snoubil estetický, sociální i technologický aspekt.

Abstract:

My work concerns with the use of audiovisual media: film, video and computer art in a multimedia theatre production between the beginning of the 20th century and today. It describes not only techonological progress but the principles of its application in particular. Intentionally, the author segregates film from other digital media – whole work is thus based on two different ways by which these media proceed. However, the work deals not only with differences between these particular types of media, but also with their mutual interaction, as well as with their interaction with other fields of art. The typology of multimedia art performances in different stages of development of new media and illustrations of each type make for one type of output. The second type of output describes how this development is reflected in a contemporary theatre art. The main reason for choosing this particular theme of my work was the growing tendency of formal use of film and video in a live theatre performance, leading to the general acceptance of these artistic elements as an axiomatic feature. Along with others, nowadays standardized principles and technologies, theatre audiovisual media have undergone a noticeable development, uniting their aesthetic, social and technological aspects.
