Workflow in business information systems based on MS Sharepoint

Abstract:

Hlavní náplní práce je představení workflow v produktu Sharepoint. V první části je popsána práce s workflow v Sharepointu a možnosti jeho vývoje. V praktické části práce je na základě získaných znalostí a provedené analýzy ve třech rozdílných společnostech navržen a implementován modul pro řízení procesu nepřítomnosti. Možnost nastavení modulu je variabilní, a proto se stává optimální pro použití v různých typech společností. Vzhledem k rozsáhlým možnostem vývoje pro Sharepoint se mnohdy stává programování Sharepoint aplikací obtížné. Práce obsahuje popis základních postupů, které usnadní a urychlí budoucí implementaci. Pro zadávající společnost Smartdata s.r.o. slouží vytvořený modul jako prezentace produktu Sharepoint.

Abstract:

The main goal of this thesis is to introduce workflow in the product called Sharepoint. The first part describes workflow in Sharepoint and ways for its development. Practical part deals with module for management of absence, which has been developed and implemented on the basis of research done in three different companies. Setting options of the module can vary and that is why the module can be used in different sorts of companies. Considering the large number of research options of Sharepoint, implementing of the applications is sometimes difficult. The thesis contains description of basic procedures that simplify future implementation. This module serves as a presentation of Sharepoint for the company Smartdata Ltd.
